Ivy Whirl is a one-thumb arcade game built around a single beautiful idea. A living vine of leaves orbits a glowing hub at the center of your screen. Petals, coins and gems drift in from every edge while sharp thorns try to pierce the hub. Your job is simple to describe and endlessly satisfying to play. Hold the left side of the screen and the vine spins one way. Hold the right side and it spins the other. Let go and the vine winds down gently. You guide the leaves to sweep up the good things and stand the leaves between the hub and anything dangerous. The longer you survive the faster the garden grows. Thorns arrive more often, items come in from new angles and the vine has to keep pace. Catching a blue power capsule unleashes one of five effects. A dewdrop shield wraps the hub for a few seconds.
