Lapse 2: Before Zero is the official prequel to Lapse: A Forgotten Future. If you are here, it means that in some way you were successful in your quest to save the world – or to destroy it. Doesn’t really matter which, since you will now be brought from a future world to an ancient era. The one who once was President will now be Pharaoh, the one who once was machine shall become your most precious allied in the new challenge to come. When you open your eyes, the year is 1750 b.C. and the place is the ancient Egypt. A faraway land now become synonymous of mystery and that now, for some unknown reason, needs your help. Proceed cautiously, and what may seems only another kingdom to rule, may very well be the key to the survival of the word. Lapse 2: Before Zero was created to answer the questions of the players, narrating what in the first chapter was hidden or merely alluded.
