How it works 

Step 1. Design your wish

This step involves uploading an image from your device, it will be applied as the background for your NFT. It can be a simple single-color background or a complex photo. An example of this is, if you would like to send a birthday wish to your friend, you can upload a photo of you and him/her together.

After uploading your background, you can start editing it. Our editor allows you to resize, crop, draw, add text, change shape, colors, add stickers, among other options.

Step 2. Send NFT 

Once you are happy enough with your design just click on “Create Wish as NFT” button.

The way the NFT is delivered is through an email to the wish receiver. Once the NFT is created, it remains unclaimed until the wish receiver claims it through a link that will be sent to their email address. For this to occur the email address of the receiver is needed, and it is also possible to add a kind message that will be sent along with the NFT Claim Link.

Step 3. Sign the transaction

In this step your wallet will be connected to sign the transaction. For the transaction to take place your wallet balance in Polygon needs to be greater than 0.5 Matic.

After signing the transaction, a new NFT will be minted owned by your wallet. Then we will send an email to the person you want to receive the Wish with an invitation to transfer the NFT to his/her wallet

How the receiver can claim the NFT

The receiver of the wish will receive a mail with a link in it. The link will redirect the user to www.iwishyounft.com/claim/claimId, This page will contain an input where the user should enter his Ethereum address and a button to claim the NFT. That’s it, we will take care of transferring the NFT to his address. (The receiver won’t need to sign any transaction for this to happen)
