Morpher lets you stake crypto against 700+ stocks, commodities, indices, and other currencies. Users invest MPH token in a market (e.g. Apple stock) they wish to trade long or short, whereby the resulting price-action difference is materialized in the minting and burning of staked tokens. Should the user’s position earn a profit, tokens proportional to the return are minted, and, if the user realizes a loss, a proportional amount of their staked tokens gets destroyed. There is no liquidity or counterparty risk on Morpher, there are no middle-men and no commissions, as all trades are made against smart contracts.
